John Travolta as John Gotti?

I realize this is a 2 yr old posting.....

The Gotti movie came out in 2018. I watched it the other morning. It's pretty good. It's amazing what "movie makeup" can do.

I like John Travolta. I'm definitely not into Wiseguy movies. I haven't even seen The Godfather, if you can believe that. Tried to watch Goodfellas. Hated it and walked out. I heard John and Kelly interviewed about this movie. They worked with the Gotti family who picked John themselves.

given two or three “0% Ratings”...and Gotti was one of them.

I haven't seen it yet - don't know if I will. Kelly Preston plays Victoria Gotti, so that might make me more likely to see it. Although they do say many married couples have zero chemisty in movies! LOL!

I've seen John in some crime or drama movies, like The General's Daughter and Carrie, and comedies like Look Who's Talking, Wild Hogs, and Hairspray, but . . .

The movie seemed to me like a docudrama. It was about Gotti, Sr & Jr. Jr's story I did not know about except for what I saw & read in the news when he kept getting arrested.

I haven't seen it either. And not that mob series that was on HBO I think years ago. Just not interested in seeing people get murdered etc. Don't like crime dramas either for the same reason.

The Gotti movie with John was released in theaters June 15, nit on TV, but it never came here that I saw, I would like to see it, his wife Krlly co-stars.

I find this one interesting and will look forward to when it hits HBO, or somewhere I can watch it at home.

I especially liked that Kelly is in it with him, playing his character's wife.

BTW, I also never watched movies like Godfather, or pretty much any of that type of movie or show, incl Sopranos. I don't generally gravitate toward that type of storyling. But this might be interesting.

I recently saw a show about him and his family. Too bad my memory is almost gone, as I remember virtually nil, except that his son was interviewing throughout the show.

My son spent quite a bit of time with John Gotti and various Gotti family members. He said John was always a true gentleman to him and Victoria was especially kind and friendly. Unfortunately, not all in the Gotti family pathway received the same treatment.
