I am convinced that in some cases celebrities are approached and lines are created for them to sponsor. It seems they are the spokesperson and perhaps never have anything to do with anything other than attempt to sell it to the public. What would you create for someone famous to promote?

I bet a large majority of the iconic designers of famous couture lines

don’t have a ‘proper’ design education.

If one has the ‘eye for design’ or a great sense of style...

those things can’t be taught.

This idea extends to so many other industries...especially creative.

It’s just a piece of paper.

I am not a clothing designer but I could align with someone who could design and manufacture clothing based on my ideas. I would also like to design a line of bras specifically for larger busted women. I have found that if I wear racer back bras I have no aching pain from bra straps nor do I have divets in my shoulders but finding one that is supportive with no over spill and comfortable is next to impossible.

Another line of makeup and skin care. Yes, don't we just need another one? There are so many already! But one that tackles the issues of mature skin only would be nice. This line would be very moderately priced, yet have a lot of the bells and whistles of some of the higher priced lines. And, since I have really picky, sensitive skin, every product would be fragrance free and center around these issues.

Also, a line of moderately priced clothing which considers that us more mature gals still want to look modern and somewhat trendy but we need clothing which is geared to our stage in life and issues. For instance, nice basic tops of a soft breathable fabric that is easy to care for and not of a flimsy, body hugging material. Bottoms that have a classic tailoring and kind fit, wash and wear. Many pieces that can be mixed and matched.

I know the Q has a lot of clothing and shoe lines, but I would have a line of fashion, shoes and bras with extended sizing - clothing going to size 4X, shoes going to size 13 W, bras going to cup size H. I keep hearing from B&M retailers there is no demand for extended sizes, but when you go online (pretty much the only place you can find it), what sells out first or is in limited quantities? Those same extended sizes.

I realized QVC tried this at one point many years ago but

I’m really surprised Men’s Wear didn’t make it w/ televised shopping.

I would think the person who would not want to venture out into

the crazy retail world would appreciate at-home shopping...gentlemen.

Any ideas why it didn’t work out?

🤔

My jewelry aesthetic is much like what Robert Lee Morris designs. Not just what he brings here to QVC, but if you check out his own webpage and social media pages....he is so incredible! In my wildest dreams I would have that kind talent to create such architectural, artistic, and unique styles.

I have also always dreamed of a fashion line similar to some of the designs that Marla Wynne brings to HSN [but not everything would be as boxy as a lot of hers]. I would incorporate some simple, very light-handed etchings as contemporary prints in some of the styles. None of the big flowers or dense prints are my style.

A makeup line that is more inclusive of all women. QVC selects a narrow number of shades for each brand to sell here. But a lot of the brands have far more selections on their own webpage. So I'd offer a brand whose very definition is inclusive so QVC cannot get away with reducing the number of shades. I'd offer the fairest of the fair, to the deepest of the deep, and at least 30 shades (and different undertones) in between.

Point 1: I doubt if there could be a “one fits all” skincare line for mature skin. The bells & whistles of high priced brands usually never work...they promise what the older woman wants to hear: younger, brighter, clearer, less wrinkled skin. That’s not available at any price.

Point 2: Q addresses your request w/ Denim & Co. and the several “loungewear” lines. Unfortunately, we’re not their target consumer. That’s why the clothing is high priced, ill fitting, styling too trendy, etc.

I’m not sure if you developed these 2 product lines, there’d be enough customers to purchase them. So many people have become disenchanted with QVC.
