Not completely thinking through what "The Prophet" implied, I read this poetry prose (classified as fictional) and thought some of the ideas were "cool." I like his thoughts on raising children. I think this book is rather more of a philosophy book, as nowhere on Wikipedia does it mention that the author ever tried to imply that he was a prophet.</P> <P>DH (living in the more conservative part of the South) has never heard of this book!
