Around 3am, the MPR raccoon finally made it to the top

of the UBS building in downtown Minneapolis!!

Has anyone else been following?

Twitter was on top of it...funny remarks, but everyone was

rooting for this little ~~guy~~ girl!

Odd man out here but I won't be happy until this little one is safe someplace and that doesn't mean the top of the building. I'm glad he made it but now what?

They said there were live traps set up there with food but no news as of yet what happened.

Fingers crossed there is a good outcome to this.

I saw this morning that he made it to the top but I want to know that he made it back down and is O.K.!

I’m sure wildlife experts will keep us posted.

My guess, they will immediately determine if he doesn’t

have any infectious diseases. If not, they will nurse him

back to health (he was skinny) & release him in a safe place.

I would reckon they won’t release him for sometime.

And that firstly hinges on the fact he’s not carrying an

infectious disease. If I see anything, I’ll post.

To my knowledge no one has him to release him.

I was watching GMA this morning and they said since he made it to the top of the building, but there have been no further reports of what has happened since.

They were trying to trap him but there hasn't been any news as to whether it was successful.

I couldn’t figure out what he was hanging onto to climb. Just looked pretty flat to me. I am not fond of raccoons. They destroyed my fish pond, but I wish this little creature well and hope he survives. I wonder if he is sick to be doing such a thing.

According to KARE11's website, they believe she is a one year old female that will be released back into the wild. I am just glad she is safely back on the ground as it was tough to watch her struggle.

Hi @QueenDanceALot! I am just so glad she is in safe hands as it broke my heart to watch her struggle like that. God bless all that helped her.
