I brought Diesel home today, and he's the best dog! He went into the back of the van with no problem, and I didn't hear a peep from him all through the ride. I stopped at the pet store on the way home to buy him a decent collar and lead, and he was the perfect gentleman in the store. As soon as we got home, I gave him a bath, or should I say, I gave us both a bath. He jumped out of the tub several times soaking me. Meal time was interesting because he wanted to eat everything in sight, including my other dogs' food. Needless to say, that didn't go over well, but it worked out. I can understand his hunger. The little guy is very thin. The shelter people told me that his owners said that he wouldn't eat his food, but I don't buy that. He Hoovered everything in sight. Right now he's sound asleep on the sofa. Poor guy had a busy day.
