Not true. Generators provide power to many large businesses and phones like my employers can be run through the internet.

Check Google. There is a massive Comcast outage affecting businesses across the country.

the phones were down for a bit. they asked people to write item numbers down and to call back later when systems up.

Some things are just out their control. I think we will all survive. I am sure they feel terrible about all this and probably some sales.

i felt bad for David Dangle who presented 2 hours of Joan Rivers at the beginning of the problem. i don't think they even have items in that show up at "Items Recently on Air" for people to peruse and to help make up for lost sales.
