Praying not Protesting

It seems a well known person at Fox News is circulating a photo of the Philadelphia Eagles praying prior to a game and stating that this is what happens during the National Anthem. It is a total lie!!!!!

The Eagles pray prior to every game as they have for decades!!!!! Not one of our players knelt during the season!!!!!

Why do people deliberately lie to boost ratings or cause controversy???? Some people will believe this. When did facts not matter????? If you can't be honest, don't say anything!!!

This post is not political. It is a statement about truth and the lies being told about our Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles!!!!!

Outsiders love to malign our team, but, this is outrageous!!!

@grandma r Why? Money. People click on, tune in or turn on, tweet, purchase , etc and ALL those things bring in money.

It's all about the money, honey. NOT the truth...AND it works for everyone, not just one side or belief or demographic...ALL.

It's the #1 reason I don't get my panties in a twist over anything; I wait, watch, listen and THEN make my decision.

No surprise. What bothers me is the danger of believing everything people say and not questioning, investigating for yourself and making sure of the truth. Instead many people run with these lies and it becomes their reality.

How sad that sports has become so politically divisive. I wish they'd get rid of the national anthem at sporting events.

That's the nature of the media beast.

They will pay more for unflattering photos or photos attached to deceitful headlines for the purpose of influencing readers to click on their web pages or buy their magazines. It's frustrating for us who know they are deliberately misleading the public by manipulating and twisting the truth.
