Johnny Depp Looks Very ILL

Photographs of Johnny Depp posing with fans in Russia over the last week have sparked fears among some that the actor is 'ill'.

Depp, 54, happily posed for two photographs with female fans before setting off for a performance with his band, The Hollywood Vampires.

The photographs were taken at the Four Seasons hotel in St. Petersburg.

The band performed in the city on Wednesday night after playing in Moscow two nights earlier.

The women shared them excitedly on social media afterwards but, among comments from other fans who told them how lucky they were to have met their idol, were concerns over Depp's appearance.

Did he shave his hair?

He doesn't look good - he never does to me anyway. He usually has long hair and makeup on.

He is very gaunt looking. It could be worry over his financial situation. He doesn't look at all well

You are so right, he looks wasted.

Could be illness, drugs or boozing and not eating? Poor thing! Hope he checks himself out.

Yes, he looks gaunt and ill. If he is truly sick, it will have to come out eventually. He looks awful in those photos

He looks like he dropped a little weight and could be preparing for a role in a movie. You know how actors lose and gain weight for a role. I hope he is okay. Johnny is an excellent actor. I saw him in "Black Mass" the other night and he is unrecognizable but he was excellent.

Hmm, I'm going to have to find some more pics before I say he looks ill. For the longest, Johnny was slim and had lots of hair on his head and facial hair. He was also tanned. For awhile there he was looking bloated. He looks like he slimmed down, is back to his natural color and I know he shaved the sides of his head. He has no facial hair and finally Johnny is showing his age.

I am not disputing that fans are concerned. I know from experience with a life long fan relationship with Prince, there is skinny and healthy (90's) and skinny and ill looking (2015 and onward).

@Mz iMac It could have been the lighting in the fan photo plus he's not wearing any eye makeup in the fan photo. Girl could you imagine Prince without his eye makeup

He is cleaned up around the face. All the black eye makeup is gone and all the earrings and hair. This is him clean faced I think. HOpe he's ok too.
