trouble with aol

Is any one having problems retrieving email from aol?

Haven't been able to get my mail.

I've been having trouble too. But did get to most of it finally. It's still not letting me get to some - hopefully i will be cleared up soon.

Yes! Fine on my cell phone, but not on my laptop. It's been this way for a couple of hours now. Technical problems at AOL's end, I would guess.

Today is slow I agree. Last week suddenly all of the mail we had in 'trash' was gone. All of it except the last couple of weeks. We were unable to retrieve it. Not that important but sometimes I move stuff I want in trash just to clear my in box. If I lost my in box or sent it would be awful.

LOL ..... Just this very minute fixed mine ..... first I cleared my browsing data, and then I deleted every AOL cookie .... there were about 20 cookies! (???)

Anyway, that did the trick.

i can access my aol mail on my computer (using the firefox browser.)

i can also access it on my samsung smartphone via the mymail app.

Yes, a couple of months ago I was having trouble for days on end - switched to a gmail account and have had no problems.

@hennypenny- hi hennala! That is correct. No emails. I just got home about 15 minutes ago and can't retrieve my email. I shut down, came back on, and did it again and again, but no luck.

I hope it comes back soon. I would love to switch servers but I need my aol name for business grrrrr

Seems like it comes back for a short time, then goes out again. I'm sure they'll get it fixed eventually.

aol is out all over the country.they dont know when they will be up again.

aol was terrible this morn. took me forever to get my mail. have not tried this afternoon as of yet.

I wasnt sure if it was my computer, or the power poles they are replacing on the street or if it was aol.

Just got home from torture (PT) and will hopefully be able to get my mail now.

I have had same aol acct for so many years it would be a total mess to switch servers.

I used AOL for years with no problem. Then one day several years ago, I couldn't sign in. Spent the better part of two evenings with their CSRs. The first just hung up on me when he couldn't fix it. The second was better and I was finally able to sign in. However I could not retrieve any of my email. I got it but could not open it. I gave up and got another ISP. I'd rather take a beating than talk to their tech support again.
