      <title>EVINE WON'T REFUND MONEY...</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;Recently my daughter ordered a blender/mixer for eighty dollars from Evine and it was defective.&amp;nbsp; After contacting them she was told another would be sent.&amp;nbsp; The second one was also defective and again she contacted them and they sent her two prepaid mailing labels to use for mailing them back.&amp;nbsp;After making sure&amp;nbsp;everything was in each box and both were properly sealed she attached a label to each one and dropped them off at a UPS Store to which I was a witness.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;Some time later Evine refunded the cost of one order saying they will not pay for the second one since they did not receive it.&amp;nbsp; They claim they received only one box. &lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;FONT face="comic sans ms,sans-serif" size="3"&gt;She has the receipt from the UPS store clearly showing that two packages were sent.&amp;nbsp; I advised her to go back to the UPS Store to see what they can do under the circumstances.&amp;nbsp; Anyone out there have advice as to what more she can do?&amp;nbsp; Eighty dollars is not something to say, "oh well it is only a few dollars, I'll forget about it."&amp;nbsp; In all the years I have ordered from QVC and others I have never experienced anything like this so I am at a loss as to advise her&amp;nbsp;with&amp;nbsp;anything more than I already have.&amp;nbsp; Help!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/35035"&gt;@Lindsays Grandma&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; The other posters are correct.&amp;nbsp; The problem is with the shipper.&amp;nbsp; Evine can't be held accountable for something they didn't receive.&amp;nbsp; Did your daughter do a search with UPS to see if the missing item could have been lost or delivered to an incorrect address?&amp;nbsp; I'm pretty sure that with UPS there's insurance built into the shipping fee that covers a certain amount of monetary lloss.&amp;nbsp; That would have been the place to start, filing a loss claim with UPS, but it seems she didn't do that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not sure how the bank would put the money back into her account so quickly without doing an investigation first. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What kind of complaint is she planning to file?&amp;nbsp; What is she expecting to gain from it?&amp;nbsp; Aside from the original problem being with the shipper and not Evine, if what you say about the bank is accurate, there's no need to file a complaint/claim of any kind at this point.&amp;nbsp; Your daughter's $$ has been refunded and she's restored on both items so the matter is closed. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;A couple of things:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) UPS offers $75 basic insurance when you ship with them; you can buy more if you wish&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) I may have missed it but did EVINE CHARGE her for the 2nd one? If not, then she would only be refunded for 1 item.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) If a box isn't received, it's up to the shipping company to find it and reimburse the person/company. Often, a vendor will refund you as a curtesy and then go after the shipper. IF you have proof that EVINE received the box (due to the receipt and tracking info from UPS), then EVINE is in error. However, IF the box IS lost due to UPS, then EVINE is NOT to blame.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) Banks often will refund a customer money "stolen" pending an investigation but with the condition that IF they find the customer to be in the wrong, the money WILL be removed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've gone through ALL of this many times before.&amp;nbsp; It will work out.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
