Other states as well.

This is springtime weather in many of our states. I've been through about 3 tornadoes that frightened me. One was on the highway driving to St. Louis and traffic halted. Hail hitting my vehicle was louder than the radio, then the massive, dark storm cloud lifted and I was on my way. I did see trees uprooted as I drove along. I retreat to the basement 'just in case' probably every spring season when I hear sirens. Last night there was a tornado that did not touch down about a quarter mile from my home. Greatful it kept moving along. I'm sure there are many stories floating around. Nature is powerful, frightening and amazing. Thank you for your kind words. More activity predicted later today in the atmosphere for us Midwesterners. Be safe!
