@dex I don't remember pic and save. There is always something I find there. I do need some plastic storage containers which are things I usually buy on their 20% off sales - it seems I can always use those (Rubbermaid or Sterlite) to try to get more organized. Then I wander the aisles and see other stuff. Last sale I bought a DVD of the film The Artist dirt cheap.

So there is always something......

@Pearlee@Yes there is always something at big lots.I have never heard of odd lots...sounds funny.Pic and Save was a very low priced outlet store that had some interesting items from high end stores.You never knew what was going to be there so you had to go regularly.I still have many items I purchased more than ten years ago and love them.They had quality.

I liked it better when it was Pick 'n Save. I like Big lots, but the prices are not cheap anymore.

I went today to the one nearest me, which isn't my favorite. I may go to another one tomorrow if I have time. Each store has a slightly different selection.

I'm glad I went. I bought some staple products I used in the food department (they have a very good and cheap - even cheaper with 20% off - Splenda substitute I use so I got a couple of bags of those and some other stuff like that. A few things like plain envelopes, etc. Basic stuff, nothing too exciting. Some paper plates and plastic silverware since it's getting warm here and ice packs for my coolers. Again, nothing exciting but I'm glad I went to get stuff I'll be using even cheaper. I do like to browse through their foodstuffs.

I didn't know there was a Big Lots Card. Haven't been to one since they became Big Lots. I had fun getting some gag gifts when the store was called Pic n Save.

Big Lots is our favorite store for getting items that are not costing a arm and a leg. Part of this family have already made 3 trips over to our local store and are very pleased with with what they purchased. In fact another scoot over there is in talks. Our store has a lot of things to look at and buy its clean, well organized and actually fun to shop in. Plus the fact that it is not even two miles from our homes.

Perhaps it's biweekly but it's more that once a month, they also email customers with other savings opportunities as well....

I went there and it was so crowded, but thankfully I didn't have to wait in line for too long. I purchased a couple of plush nice towels and a bag full of other items for less than twenty bucks!

I didn't care much for Pic n Save though my mom loved it. I think Big Lots is much better. I used to live closer to the store and she'd always want to go there which I dreaded lol. I don't go there that often, but have found so many great things there. My daughter bought a brand name sofa there and it's comfy and has held up well.

Gee, as a frequent shopper I wish I knew too as I also have a card, always present it when purchasing , and only get a discount when I get emails with a printable discount coupon notification, which isn't every visit.

We have a Big Lots about 5 minutes from me. They don't run the 20% off at my store but once every couple of months. Generally it is on a Sunday. My SIL and I just went yesterday and I got some great stuff for my back deck.

Heading to Big Lots today - 20% all items! Today is for their reward card holders (not a credit card/just sign up in store), and 20% for everyone tomorrow.

I always find really good deals on cleaning supplies, especially the pods for dishwashers. Going to check out the outdoor section, sometimes they have name brand gardening supplies. Also the "Marie Callendar's" cornbread mix is wonderful and have found "Bob's Red Mill" oatmeal and flours (gluten free available too) at a really low price.

There are certain staples I use that I buy there on this sale so I'm definitely going! Thanks for mentioning it to everyone else via my previous thread.
