I LOVE Spring! After seeing all the grays and browns all winter, it's so wonderful to see color again. I like nothing more than to see the grass turn green, the magnolias and cherry blossoms blooming and the daffodils and tulips opening up.

Happy Spring!. But unfortunately here in PA we are expecting another Nor'easter from Tuesday to Wednesday with Wednesday being the worst. We are to get rain and sleet Tuesday and then 6 to 9 inches on Wednesday! South of us I believe its 12 plus inches. I am SO ready for Spring and SO sick of Winter! lol

We are finally getting winter in Southern California the past couple of weeks and I’m enjoying it. We are getting some much-needed rain and snow. There’s another storm coming in this week. Lots of worries about the burn area in the Santa Barbara area. I think they are evacuating some people in advance of the storm.

We made it through Winter. LOL

It's freezing here, but there is a glimmer of hope that better days are coming. Sunday was almost 60, and it felt so good to be out without a coat and just smell fresh air.

We’re in the throes of bad weather too, with snow expected overnight and into tomorrow. However, Spring is my favorite time of year and I’m happy to see it arrive even in the midst of a storm.

Spring is lovely but it just means we are that much closer to 3 months of over 100 degrees and relentless heat until October. It’s supposed to hit 90 later this week. Ah Spring aka pre summer.

Ahhh...first day of spring! There is still snow on the ground here in Northern Wisconsin, but it is melting. I just went out to feed the squirrels and birds, and I saw my first chipmunk!! He ran right up to me to get some peanuts. Guess they have a memory like an elephant.

for anyone interested......persians or friends/family of persians.....it is also the start of the persian new year. their new year celebrations last for 13 days and begun right at the time spring arrived officially.

we came to the beach to celebrate, but it is pouring rain here right now. we are expecting some snow overnight i believe.

happy new year 1397 to those who observe this custom or enjoy knowing more about other cultures!
