Only the continental US or as it is called in Alaska, “the lower 48”. No shopping for me.

The term "continental U.S." includes Alaska as they are on the same continent as the contiguous states.

yes, and Alaska is not part of the "Contiguous United States", because it is not attached directly to the lower 48 states.

if it is shown as CONUS (not sure where the OP is seeing it posted that way) it could mean either possibly?

when i saw this thread brought back memories.

retired military wife here. living in hawaii, it was mainland for the lower 48.
