this is only happening on certain tablets and/or smartphones i believe?

I'm suddenly having this problem on my iPad. I can't use the feature where I can "stretch" the page with two fingers and make the font bigger. The stretching feature still works on any other website I visit, so it isn't the iPad that has a problem. If the font stays small, I sure won't be reading the forums as much.

@shoesnbags I'm using the IPad four and can stretch the screen and I also tried to stretch the screen with my new IPad Pro, and I can stretch the screen using the two finger stretch. You may want to ty closing it altogether and trying it again.

Yup, and when a poster decides to write an entire LONG conversation without using paragraphs its just unreadable! I got the book thrown at me the other day because I asked the OP to use paragraphs. The bashing thread of me still continues. *SIGH*

I never change the size of my font, I'm always on a laptop and keep my zoom at 100%.

Your posts are made up of many different colors and font sizes. I've noticed you change colors and sizes from paragraph to paragraph and sometimes word to word.

Very hard to do @NAES1?

Sometimes your font is too small even if you do it in bright red.

I always wondered why you went to the trouble to change so many times in a long post.

The way you posted on this thread is so easy to read!

I don't mind reading when people type in bold like Viva and I don't mind when they enlarge their font like OXOX. I don't even mine when people type in caps.

It's when they keep messing with the font sizes (and even the font style) all in one long post that makes it hard to read. For some reason, the font comes out the size of ingredients on a little oitment tube.

The only time the font bothers me is when the poster makes it smaller. I simply cannot read it and skip over the post. I don't undestand why anyone would purposely make their font so small. Other people have mentioned this, too.

I'm on an Android tablet and cannot enlarge the screen with my fingers anymore either. I've changed the font size twice, it's enormous and then goes back to tiny.

I have an older iPad than yours, @shoesnbags - so old I can no longer update the IOS. Have the tiny font problem and can't stretch the page either since this website upgrade. Lots of bouncing as the pages load, too. (It's even worse on my Fire tablet with the new bobbing menu banner.)

I have to use the zoom function in Accessibilities on the iPad. When I zoom in enough to make the fonts a normal size, it throws the links on the left out of view. I zoom back out a bit in order to use those, then back in to read and type.

Thankfully the editing tools on posts still work. I'm selecting my usual size 3 font. I can only hope it appears normal to others here. Don't want to assault anyone's eyeballs! 👀

I hope this tip helps you a little until the situation is resolved by the tech team.

Since I began this topic which occurred EXACTLY around Friday at 11:30 a.m. -I will address each poster. I have the font set at #3.

No colors, a typical BOLD BLACK in ARIAL. Patbz, I cannot [even] read your post unless using a magnifying glass -HA, as in Sherlock Holmes' spy glass. Please let me know how this looks to you!

I was typing three seconds ago "THE PLEASE", then the screen jumped waaaay down and what I typed never adhered to the post.

I almost always use Georgia, font #4 whether on my ipad or computer but sometimes it comes out like #3. It could be that as a poster types, they don't realize how small the result will look to the reader because of the way it looks on their device. Unless it's really, really small.

But @Mmsfoxxie , posters haven't changed their fonts, they're using the same fonts/sizes as they were before - when it all appeared larger. Font size suddenly shrunk on the same day for everyone affected. Clearly something changed at QVC.

Yes, you are both correct. All along the various fonts and their sizes appear quite differently depending on the devices used to post here. Knew that just between my old IPad and the new Fire tablet.

Then the tech team performed an upgrade to these forums- with no prior notice, just after they did so on the Home Page. Must have been on Friday as @NAES1 witnessed. (Thank you for reporting the problems to QVC.) I wasn't here at the time and was confused by the sudden changes, too. Tiny fonts with no ability to stretch the pages simultaneously was unfortunate for many indeed! Had they warned us of the coming upgrade, it would have helped to avoid a lot of confusion. Many thought it was their devices gone whacky.

Now those who are experiencing the problems who type in their normal sized fonts are being displayed here as tiny as ant trails. I would select size 3 or 4 and try using the zoom function on your device. I know it won't work for everyone, sadly. 😟

The mods have kindly passed the complaints along from Customer Care to the IT Team. Hoping solutions come soon, that won't cause troubles for those many who aren't having any now. Fingers crossed!

Forgot to mention one thing that may help them resolve the issues.

When the page finishes bouncing as that new banner fully loads, everything decreases in size. Including the forum tables, as well as the fonts. A wide gap is left on either side of the pages that seems to compress everything toward the center.

I don't know if they can or will change that feature. They may have to tinker with our available settings in our profiles, if not set a larger standard font for all.

My HD Fire 10” tablet is brand new with all current upgrades. No reason why that shouldn't be compatible, but I can't shop with it, or post here without a lot of inconvenience.

Going to give my eyes a break now. Good luck, ladies.

I have just checked with my husband's IPad Pro & LG Smart phone, that can >be< STRETCHED to any font, screen page font ON 'ANY' WEBSITE -with out any problems.

He has NO QVC website, nor has ever used it

For @LuckyCharm, I am a free lance artist, so different colors represent a different person / or another topic not to confuse to someone else to me.
