Can you remove the hook and chain from a Bethlehem Lights Hanging Basket, and use it as a table centerpiece?

I have a couple and don't hang them. I tuck the chains in and you don't see them, in case I ever change my mind. I'm sure I could remove them with some tools.

Yes, you can and very easily! Just take a pair of pliers and open the chain where it attaches to the basket.

You don't have to open it far for it to be removed and keep the chain & hook in case you later decide to hang it.

I've done it with several to place on a table, urn, etc.
