Be Aware !

Hi...

Just posted that my home page on QVC.com is weird.

Please Beware. !!

I signed into the forum boards to write my post and when I did that It

signed me into EVERYTHING.

The reason I became aware of this is that on my weird QVC home page,

on the bottom there is an area that says ORDER STATUS.

When I clicked on that expecting a sign- in page to appear...It didn't appear......

It went right to my Orders to View which means I was signed-in already

when I signed-in to the Forums.

Usually if you signed-in to the forums you still had to sign-in to QVC.com to view

your orders and wish list.

Oh!!! Also... The WISH LIST IS MESSED UP AGAIN....

When I signed-OUT of the forums, then it signed me out of QVC.com

So please do not think you are just signed into the forums.

This must be another work in progress. When I clicked on the order status page I had to sign in. I have been signed in here for a while and there was no cross-over.

Did you close your browser since the last time you signed into the Q retail site? If not cookies will keep you signed in. Once you close your browser you get signed out.

I hope it does sign us into everything! Having to sign in multiple times is stupid and outdated.

Hi....

On the forums page, on the left hand side, almost at the bottom, you

will see sign out.

Sign out there then go to the QVC home page (Just to make sure) and at the bottom you will see.. my account ...or my orders....click on that....

If you see the sign in page come up and you do not go directly to your orders

or account then you are signed out.

Oh brother !!!!!!! It's 11:00AM and I NEED A DRINK !!!!!!🍸

@Kat 13 Maybe the HSN “IT team” will also merge with QVC and help them out...never seen so many problems on a site...and so often!

@Kat 13- Mine's been like that for forever and, when I mentioned it ages ago on another thread, someone thought I didn't know what I was talking about or was confused. (25 years in IT; no, I'm not confused.)

I prefer it to having to log in to each section individually. If I log into QVC, once should be enough to access everything under my account. And one sign out should be enough to close everything. JMO.

???? I've read your post twice and am still not sure what you want people to "please beware!!" of ....... that you're having trouble?

Hi.....

To make my self clearer....

BE AWARE that when you NOW sign into the forums you are ALSO signed into

your QVC account.

In the past, including yesterday, if you signed into the forums, you WERE NOT

signed into your QVC account....orders credit, card payments ,wish list..etc..

You had to sign in separately to get to your account.

Now, signing into the forums, you are also signed into your QVC account.

I just wanted everyone to beware to make sure to sign out of the forums or

they would still be signed into their QVC account.

Clearly, there are glitches ... and variables .... happening here. As usual.

I am signed into the forums and went over to my account and am NOT signed in there, as well. I had to sign in separately to my account to access it.

So ..... what happened to you is not happening to everyone else. Not a big deal, IMO.
