SpaceX Heavy Rocket Launch/Return is Successful!

It seems that all the news seems to be focused on just a handful of things and virtually all of them negative so my heart just soared right now watching the successful launch and return of the massive SpaceX Heavy rocket.

I watched the launch too. It was as awesome as any space shuttle launch.

What I don't like is adding to the existing space junk by launching a Tesla into orbit.

And to think for years NASA never reused boosters. Elon figured out how to bring them back and use them again. They came back today and landed simultaneously in perfect unison. Reason enough to be proud of, and support, private industry. Elon Musk rocks!

So, I was watching the launch again online and I noticed something interesting. Watch the video HERE and pause it at 41:26 and 41:27. That’s a CGI film studio, folks. They faked it.

@TenderMercies, sorry, but I'm in Florida on an extended vacation, in the Space Coast and saw the launch live with my own two eyes. I also saw two boosters come back down. There is nothing fake, no big conspiracies- just a wonderful day for Space-X and America.

If you actually paused it at those moments and refuse to acknowledge that it is fake, then you are blind. They may have launched a rocket, but what they are showing on those cameras is not real.

I haven't seen a launch since I was a young teen. We were supposed to be able to see this one but it was too cloudy here.I watched it on TV - it was awesome, as they always are! I was rooting for her to get up there waiting for the secondary burners to fire. It was indeed textbook.

Wow! That rocket is going to circulate up there forever and ever and on and on.

I remember when Sputnik (sp) went up in the late 50s early 60s I think. As far as I know it also is still circulating. We used to just watch it on certain nights. Don't know if it is still visible.

The answer to the question of the lights in the background on the video is that this is the “fairing” the covering over the payload, which in this case, was the Tesla.
