Can't believe no one else has said anything about how odd it was for her son Eric to tell her this news on live TV! Poor Mary Beth held it together, but I would have been furious, should be done in person and in private IMO.

I kind of agree with you but there seemed to be lots of negative comments in chat complaining about her filling in for David so thought that might be why her son did it this way.

It was the TSV Lock-n-Lock. But Eric referred to it as "Tupperware", so I doubt they will put the video up.

I think if Mary Beth was ok with it, the expecting parents were ok with it, then I'm ok with it (the way her son told her)!

I thought it was beautiful and it brought tears to my eyes too.

I think of all the hosts ever on Q, none are more genuine and honorable than Mary Beth. I'm happy for her, her whole family and enjoyed sharing the moment with her!

On you tube type in Mary beth roe qvc and pick the one that runs 3 minutes and 58 seconds Eric comes on in the last 4 seconds of the video.

Bet when he said "Tupperware" a couple of times didn't make that gal's heart go biddy pat. LOL I'm on the apple pc hard to send link from it LOL

she was all choked up and Kierstan came out to congratulate her.

KLevinFan: I didn't see it happen. The descriptions of wht transpired confounded me. As I posted elsewhere, it didn't pass my smell test for authenticity. Did he call his father and tell him about it or did his father see it on TV as it unfolded? Usually, you get both parents on a call and tell them the good news.
