Interesting Question: If You Could Travel Anywhere in the World, Where Would You NEVER want to go?

In my classroom, I have a book of writing journal topics. Today, I read one that asked?

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you Never go and why?

Interesting question as most often it's the opposite of this question.

So, where would you never want to go? And why, if you would like to add the reason?

If I could, I want want to see every square inch of this planet. But realistically? I would never travel to a war zone.

I love to travel and love to meet people, experience new foods and study diffierent cultures. I have already been to places where people ask, “are you crazy, why did you go there.”

Unfortunally, some parts of the world are not very welcoming right now and are too dangerous. So I would have to say that North Korea and some countries in the Middle East would be out. Also, any place that is always cold.

Funny, husbands godson just posted tons of pics of him and his friends in Antarctica for New Years. My sister also went there 2 years ago. They all loved it.

I have zero interest in going to Mexico (too many stories of weird things happening and innocent people getting killed lately) and I would never never go to any war zone.

Where do I want to go? Italy, just Italy. I should have gone when I was younger. Will never go now with my health issues and waiting in airports for hours. (I used to fly not anymore and my husband wont get in a plane since his best friend was killed in a plane crash in NY years back). Anyway, I highly regret not going years ago :-(

There are so many places I have no desire to go to, it's hard to pick just one.

Obviously, I would have no desire to go anywhere that is dangerous and that the US has travel warnings against.

I really have no interest in going to any Asian country at all.

I love travelling. But I wouldn’t want to go to any dangerous places in the Middle East ( except Israel - can go there over and over). Wouldn’t go to Korea, Mongolia, China, India,Africa,most of South America.

Reasons? Different for different places. Danger, refusal to support them with my money, filth,bacterial infections, criminal instability or simply the lack of interest.

Some of them are just fine on the HD National Geographic. What can I say, I am very selective and have my priorities.
