Would you enjoy this meal?

I don't begrudge the cost. The girl spent her own money. It should be up to her, how she decides to use her own assets.

I am decidedly not a gourmet. Nothing on the menu even tempts me. I don't think many men would be happy with the portion size. There are 22 courses but they look tiny .It would be more than enough for me, if I liked the food, which I don't.

It's nice she was able to indulge her dreams, of eating there.

Sure, I would do it.

We should all do more to check things off of our bucket lists.

One year, for new year's eve, I bought a $300 bottle of Crystal champagne, just because I wanted to try it, and to check it off of my bucket list.

I did like the flavor of the champagne.

Would I buy it again?

No, only because I want to move on to other things.

What! No wine? Actually, most of those plates look disgusting to me. I have dined in Michelin-starred restaurants in France, so I’ve had the great pleasure of enjoying a gourmet feast. This stuff, though, looks like bait. The Brits have a word, twee, that comes to mind when I look at that food.

No I wouldn't enjoy it because I'm too picky but I imagine my daughter would love it. The only raw thing I'll eat is cookie dough. At least I know its dead.

I might eat the pears, but the rest of that meal looked like someone threw up on the plate. 🤢 That being said, I hope she enjoyed her dining experience.

Loved the adventure. I've been in expensive places where we each had our own waiter etc. but I knew the food was a real treat. As adults it is sad sometimes we allow money to infuence our choices. This was great, the food not so much. Let's think for ourselves and we would be better for it.

There was nothing on that menu that I would be interested in eating.

I do like the idea of getting an early start on your bucket list as she is doing.

My bucket list included travel, not food. I completed about 80% before illness interfered.

No, I wouldn't enjoy it, simply because the majority of the dishes were things that I won't eat and it's a set menu.

No. If I spent $600 on a meal I would want it to feed more than just myself. I have no desire to spend 4 hours eating one meal. With the exception of the creamsickle, I do not find the meal visually appealing

It's nice she enjoyed most of the meal, but she did say she had a couple of clinker's

Out of 22 dishes ,that isn't a bad average

She has a more developed palate than me. I didn't see anything that looked good ,or even eatable. I could never eat something that was chosen for me, unless it was something I knew I would like, and wouldn't upset my stomach.

That menu lost me on both counts. But to each their own

I would be willing to try it as an adventure.

But someone would have to show me how to eat that stuff!

I'm a meat-and-potatoes gal.

I"m very picky about what I eat because of my Crohn's.

I no longer eat any raw food, except for fruits & veggies. And very little of that.

But I would like to at least taste everything.

I love that she was given a specially wrapped copy of the menu.

I do prefer a nice bowl of pea soup or beef stew. But I have to say that I love gourmet food.

Nope. To much fish for me and its raw. The only fish I eat is deep fried. The only thing that looked ok was dessert. I’d rather spend the money elsewhere.

I think you should do what you want with your money; having said that, the food looked gross to me, not anything I would eat...but to each his own...

It's an interesting concept, but I would want to choose the food. There wasn't much in that meal that appealed to me.

I absolutely would. Fortunately, I live in and travel to areas where I can have a similar experience for about 1/3 of the cost...even that is an extravagance for a meal for one, but I take a great deal of pleasure in the experience!
