I was checking out the Vitamix on Amazon and there are so many different models. I don't want to spend $500 when there are models for in the high $300 range. I am looking mostly for it to make soups and smoothies. I love that it can make and heat soup right in the blender! Other than size of the container is there anything else I need to know?

Thanks-
