We've lived in New England in for 10 years after spending the 5 before that in Florida and Georgia. We're both from here, but we've had many relatives leave over the years. Anyway--I'm no fan of winter and this one is really the pits. Every year I try to convinve him to go back down south permanently. We were busy having babies for a few years so it wasn't really possible for me to move away from Boston (high risk pregnancy), and we're both lucky to have good, stable jobs. I feel so frustrated because we just had this conversation again and he's so darn logical. I know he's right--the job market in Florida stinks, we'd have a hard time selling our home here right now, etc--but I can't stand the thought of being here next winter. Suggestions?
