Need Help with Puppy Name PLEASE

We lost our lab Daisy earlier this year to cancer. The oncologist gave her 4-6 weeks but with the help of a good holistic practice she lived 15+ months. She passed at the vets office getting her nails trimmed.

While we are owned by 2 other dogs ... a long haired doxie named Mollie and a greyhound/boxer/pitt mix named Lucy ... it was the first time in 30 years we did not have a lab in the house.

Initally when Daisy became ill we thought that labs were too big and hard to handle at our age and that we would just ahve msall/medium dogs. But we found out we could not live without a lab.

We did try to adopt. We live in Norther New Jersey and anytime a lab became available there were dozens of applicants. Twice we made it to the final cut but no dog. It became too emotionally difficult of us and our teenagers.

So we are getting a new puppy. She is a chocolate lab (like the others we owned) from a very reputable breeder. She will just be a pet but has champion bloodlines on both sides.

If someone could tell me how to post a picture I would. We pick her up around January 20th.

We are trying to figure out a name. She was born the day after Thanksgiving so something relating to that may be nice. We were also thinking of a name to honor the Connecticut victims ... maybe using an adult's name.

You are the smartest pet lovers I know ... so I am hoping someone will have suggestions.

Of course we are open to all suggestions.
