EBAY AUCTIONS QUESTION

I have had a lot of experience with Ebay over the years, but am stumped on something ....

I always recall any auction having a link on the lower left side, for contacting the seller about that sale. I see it is no longer there, and seems to have been replaced with an "Ask the Community" link!

WHY would anyone want to "ask the community" when you have a specific question for the seller who posted this auction? What is the point of asking people who wouldn't know?

I have also tried a few times to contact Customer Service .... and it's nearly impossible to do so, unless there is an issue of fraud.

Does anyone have a way to contact Sellers ..... or have a phone number for Ebay Customer Service? This is crazy!

Any feedback on your experience with this? TIA !!

I just pulled up a random sale on ebay, and the item had the ability to contact the seller directly.

i am signed into my ebay account on a laptop.

on the item page, in the box with the sellers name and rating, there are also links that say "save this seller," "contact seller," and "see other items" that are below the sellers name.

To go "seller information" hit the vendors name and an option to "contact" is available.

On my summary page the items that I have saved on my watch list on the right hand side. there is an arrow that says "more actions". Click on that the option to contact seller appears.
