I generate an insane amount of heat. In the dead of winter I only go up to TWO cotton blankets. Plus, I completely block the heat register in my bedroom. Lately it's only been getting down in the 40s at night, so one blanket right now.

In the rest of the year it's just the bedspread atop the sheets and I have the register open during a/c weather.

Fun question!

I have two on my body at all times, plus a Berkshire blanket (the last TSV) that I use as a coverlet during the cold season. Most nights, I also use the third one for warmth if it is cold. Plus, I also have my Dennis Basso throw at the foot, but don't use it now for warmth.

So, three, plus an optional throw if needed. I keep the temperature much cooler to sleep.

I have one down blanket on most of the year. We like it cool at night, so we have the thermostat set to go down to 63° during the winter. I do keep a blanket at the foot of the bed for the dog to lay on.

We only have one blanket and polar fleece sheet plus a comforter at the foot if we need it. We like to sleep in a cool room and cover up.

I run cold. Waterbed set to 88, sateen sheet, flannel sheet, empty heavy flannel duvet cover and a heavy blanket that I kick off and pull on depending the temperature that night. Once it gets cool enough that the house stays at a steady 68 degres ( which is where the thermostat is set) then I leave the top blanket on.

Oh yes the little traveling heaters. I usually have two cats right next me, Loki and Freyja who is a long hair and then various others near my feet.

Right now i have three,and my flannel sheets just today i went down into the basement to look through all the things i still have in boxes from moving 4 years ago,got a duvet cover that i use to use on my husbands bed ,washed it and going to put it on today,there was a time years ago i was a shopper,and l ove blankets, and all bedding.

One thin cotton blanket, one cotton quilt, and the ceiling fan on medium year round. I depend on my pajamas to keep me warm, and never pull the top sheet and cotton blanket above my waist, while my husband is covered with everything up to his neck.

For now there is one electric blanket with dual controls. My side is set at the minimum temp while my husband's edges toward the highest.

I already have a quilt and a fuzzy blanket, although one or two nights I've added a comforter. The temperatures are up and down this time of year. I will definitely have at least three during the winter.

My Black Friday find for myself was a fuzzy/sherpa long bathrobe made of polyester from Pottery Barn. I got it for half price. I'm replacing the warmest robe I've ever had, which was also plush and fuzzy. I got that at 75% off at one of the blair.com stores. It's almost like wearing a coat! I hope it's a worthy replacement because I've worn that robe almost to shreds.

Getting up in the morning and making coffee in a cool house is a no-no. I need to put on fuzzy socks and a thick robe in order to get out of bed. I don't like the cold, although I love to watch the snow, especially when there's a blizzard and the world slows way down.

I have one thin down blanket that we sleep with. The decorative comforter gets pulled down at night. We don’t sleep under that. I would melt. We keep our room very cool 12 months out of the year

This time of year, an all-season comforter and very occasionally another lightweight furry/fuzzy throw blanket on top when it gets very (for the area) cold into the 30s at night.

The rest of the year, nothing a lot of the time, otherwise the all-season comforter,

I often sleep hot and am under and out of and back under again multiple times per night.
