We adopted a 4 year old dog last week. He'd been fostered by a family for about six weeks. We met Buster one time before bringing him home. He was quiet and calm. We loved him immediately. His foster mom said he was a great dog, ate well and was housebroken. Since he's been home he has been really good except for having accidents in the house. I expected one or two but he's had at least one everyday For six days. We take him out on a leash several times a day. Sometimes he does his business other times no. Today he only peed outside on three of five trips. We went to bed and I got up to get a drink after an hour to find he peed and pooped in the hallway. How do I get him to do all of his business outside? I know he's getting used to being here but I'm getting frustrated. I asked the foster mom and she seemed surprised. She claimed he never had accidents in her house. Any suggestions? Betty
