Productive morning

I got up extra early, so I made pie crust, and made three online orders. Later , I will grave the grocery store to pick up a few forgotten Thanksgiving items. I love it when I get up extra early, any other early birds out there ??

The only bad thing about getting everything done early in the day is that the afternoon never seems to end!

I've been up since 3:40 am. I made four sweet potato pies. I also placed three on line orders for Christmas presents. Also ordered some pictures of my granddaughter that I want to frame. At 9:00 I'm going to the dollar store to get some birthday wrap for her birthday gift and then at 11:00 going to babysit. I love getting up early too. I get more done in the early morning. I can think better then. I've always been a morning person. Have a nice day fellow early birds!🐦😆

I got up early too but came into my reading cave to settle into a new book that I started (obviously got distracted by my IPad). Need coffee.

i'm always up around 3'ish. i get a tremendous amount done before 7 - my mind is sharp so i attack problems,correspondence, do organizational work, etc. by the time most people are rising, i have done a day's work. but..... it does help to schedule a bit of a lie-down in the afternoon!

3:30 am every day of the week including week-ends. Love to ride my bike and read for a couple of hours or more when the rest of the world is asleep. The last time I missed a morning was back in April of this year.

Usually out buying groceries or running any errands before work at all night businesses by 6:30 am. instead of when all get off of work.

But I am in bed and falling asleep usually by 9:00 to 9:30 most nights. Still nothing like getting a lot done even ironing and especially exercising when the rest world is still dreaming.

Went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at 2:22 a.m. for the second time in a week. I recently read that phenom is a spirit trying to get my attention. I got up briefly (to acknowledge any said spirit) and had a small glass of milk. Went back to sleep and woke up again around 5:15. Decided to try to sleep a little longer because I feel I need as much sleep as I can get these days. Next thing I knew, it was 6:30! Lots to do today, let's get busy! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Normal waking time for me is between 3:00 - 4:00 a.m. I work out for an hour, walk the dog for about half hour to 45 minutes and then do anything I want to do. If I don't do housework in the morning it won't get done. I love mornings best. That's also when I do my Christmas baking every morning.

LADIES you are early birds.....and to keep up early to cook?? OH MY. I just hate to cook but wish I was a morning person.....I seem to be a night owl. Im kind of envious of you ladies...cook away and please send it over to my house lol

I am a morning person every day!! I get up at 6 am unless I wake up earlier then sometimes I stay up then.

I get out and about to do my errands early and beat the crowd which I like so not alot of time standing in check out lines.

The pet peeve is so many stores dont open until 9 or 10 LOL!!!!!

Everyone laughs at me for getting up so early and going out and doing errands early. But I dont care LOL.

Interesting. I notice there are specific times for me, too. One of them is 11:14. I'll look at the clock and it'll be 11:14. I had a brindle Boxer and her birthday was November 14.

Your schedule reminds me of my sahm scheduled back in the day. I was very organized and did everthing based on a schedule. I'd get up at 4am and do whatever was on the scheduled for that day. I'd get the cleaning and laundry and whatever done before the kids got up. Getting up early made for easy mornings, easy life.

I read this thread while I was laying in bed at 8:30 this morning. I felt a little guilty that I didn't stay up when I woke up earlier. I just am not a morning person.

I do have to admit though that when I'm forced to get up early I do tend to get more done.

Am only an early riser in summer. Go figure, shorter days and I want to sleep in.

I never plan appointments in the morning, won't even leave on vacation early morning!

Somehow I was able to get my act together and be at my grandson's school by 8:30 this morning and went to the 9:15 Mass with him and his classmates. So worth it!
