When I asked why, she said it's because you have to be old enough to buy (I'm old enough to be this cashier's grandmother, probably). I said no, she could not scan my driver's license. She then asked for my date of birth, which I guess she typed in. It seemed odd to me, as I had already given her my store rewards card to scan.
