I just love her! I watch her Food Network show and would be sad if it went away. I like nice, fun people who are just who they are without feeling like they need to act like something else. That is who she seems to me.

She is a little doll. I enjoy her cooking show also. Did you see the where mackenzie phillips was on? I thought that was sweet that they still are in touch

Did anyone see the segment with Martha Stewart, when David brought Valerie out to meet her? Martha is such a stuffy snob. I get tired of her looking down her nose at people, and kind of felt sorry for Valerie during that moment.

I absolutely agree, I do not 'think Martha Stewart' is a snob, but can sense her disappointment, being in a women's prison.

I always felt she was too trusting with her funds, accounts, (accountants) as a trust, ``` and took THE FALL.

In no way, do I, personally,

entrust an accountant to handle my personal business. I did NOT know, in the beginning, how to -learn- how to handle my $$S, but now, pretty savvy, indeed.

MS; She sometimes shys away from what people thinks; but still remembering a wrong doing. She is not perfect, nor is anyone in this world.

But she is a snob. She doesn't make eye contact, talks down to people and is just cold. Some people are just like that. It makes anything she does unwatchable for me.

I admire her, but I don't like her.

I hearted you for the ...'seems genuine, fun', nothing else. Read ON... `` what I posted~~ later, (another poster). She may come across as a snob to you, but 'trying' to mend her way, exactly what people strive to criticize and love to do.

I like her too @NAES1. I think she is a genuine person. She didn't come on the set with all that false kissy, kissy ,stuff

She got on well with the hosts. Did a happy dance with David

I love her clothing line. I admire the person she is. She is a self made billionaire. The first woman in the US to claim that title

I like the fact she is reserved. I would be the same. I don't do kisses to people I don't even know

I watched her interview and was impressed by her honesty, and the fact she answered every question forthright and without flinching

I think she is hardy pioneer stock, and a great asset to Q.

But she is a snob. She doesn't make eye contact, talks down to people and is just cold. Some people are just like that. It makes anything she does unwatchable for me.

I admire her, but I don't like her.

I think there was a problem in Martha's family with her father. She claims he taught her a lot, but 2 of her brothers changed their last name. I find that odd.

I don't know anything about her father, but there was real love between her mother and herself. She still speaks of her mother in very loving and warm terms

She speaks about her dad with respect, and I didn't detect any bitterness when she spoke of him

She positively adores her grandchildren. Her face just lights up when she speaks of them.

What you see is exactly what most so called snobs are:

(most) all artistic with a flare that many do not see.

Being defined, a (sobbish high school) girl, so many thought: being popular, snobby, I was.

I was not snobby, just selective in whom I had as best friends.

Beautiful, or highly intelligent always brings most( not everyone) to another to different plateaus....I can't become close until 'we' understand what the other person is going through= as either a blessing or curse.

*As a whole, people are turning to the wind- too eager to label!

"sad and lost generation we have become".

We have to find ways to attach, having status, to change the game.

I'd like to understand your point better, but I don't.

What does her mending her ways have to do with being cold and snobbish?

She was (in my opinion) the fall guy and took a hit that many others should have as well. She came back strong in her business and made herself a success. I admire that part of her.

I don't admire her cold personality, and her snobbery in the way she interacts with others. She is not a warm and friendly person (well, not on TV, I don't know her personally of course).

Making a come back, paying her dues to society so to speak and then moving on is fine and what she has done (very well I might add), and is admirable. What isn't appealing to me is her attitude and the way she carries herself with others. It comes off as superior.

I'm sorry, but your responses dont' make sense to me, and I really don't understand them (not being combative, I really don't get what you are trying to express).

I think many people can be admired for their hard work, their success, their valor or their honor, but not be likeable to some people.

They don't go hand in hand in my book.

I agree!...Valerie Bertinelli is a sweetheart!...I didn't know that she was on QVC....I was just wondering if anyone remembered her short-lived TV show..."Sydney"...back in the 90's?...I loved the show and couldn't understand why it was cancelled....Anyhow, she has always come across as a very natural, down-to-earth, genuine, caring person...someone who would make a great friend!
