I have subscribed to many magazines over the years. I am a printed word lover! I know that they have fallen out of favor for many people, but for me, nothing compares to holding a magazine (or a book) in my hand and feeling the glossy pages, flipping the pages, marking down the corners of articles and even products I want to go back to at a later time and devote more attention to.

What magazines have you really found to be worth your time and money? And why? I still have admiration for some of the old time ones, such as Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, and Reminisce.

Prevention and Reader's Digest are, I feel, quality ones and I always learn something from them.

I have to say that one of my favorites is Women's World. It is very inexpensive - $1.79 and is very uplifting. It's a very cheerful magazine - very positive.

I really love food magazines too, though I admit that I seldom ever make any recipes that are printed there!

And I do still admire many of the articles that I have occasion to read in Marie Claire.

I hope magazines in the printed form that you can hold in your hand never become extent.
