Coupon Usage

I do. Retailmenot has had a lot of cash back offers. I now have $80 in cash back from purchases.

I look for coupons each time I make a purchase.

Can't wait for Black Friday & CyberMonday Deals.

I used to but the cost of the newspaper got to be so much especially when I ended up reading the entire weeks papers on the weekend since I never had time during the week.

I do occasionally get a paper and find the I don't use most of the items that there are coupons for any more.

I do however, use the cartwheel promotion that Target offers, but there is no cutting out and handling over coupons, you just load them electronically and scan one bar code when checking out.

I'm using a combination of paper coupons and rebates apps like Ibotta and Checkout 51, not getting rich but the savings can be significant imo.

When I can, I do. I don't buy just because there is a coupon, but I do check them out in the local flyers.

I use my grocery store shopper card & download on that, also we still get the Sunday paper clip them and use resturant coupons also. Once in a while use groupon. I try to match them up with sale items for more savings. Paper & cleaning products are expensive.

I usually have a handful when I shop and also upload my receipts to receipt hog, Ibotta, check 51, and Walmart savings catcher and occasionally shopkicks. I also check in on shopkicks and scan bar codes.

Online I use Topcashback before making a purchase, sometimes Mr Rebates and Ebates.

Ive earned gift cards and cash. I got a 2 $50 Walmart gift card just for submitting my receipts and they pay difference if they find lower price.

I’m pretty happy with the results though it takes some effort but I’m currently a stay at home mom and every little bit helps with three kids in the home, 2 dogs and a cat plus hubby of course, lol

I used to use them a lot, not so much these days. I see coupons buy 3 get 25¢ off. Instead, I make a list based on the sales and stick to my list. We also had a Costco open and that's changed up my shopping habits. Occasionally, I will use them if I see something on sale.

No. I never even see coupons anymore since we no longer take a newspaper. I suppose one can find them online? Sounds like too much work for a few cents off!

We use them, but only on things that we use and we try to wait until there is a sale on the item.

This week Hellmann's mayo is on sale for $2.99, we have a 50 cent coupon, which the store will double, so it will be $1.99.

My husband is way better at it than I am.

I used to be an avid couponer. I have the coupond filed in a box by categories and brand.

Today I just save the coupons like $.50 to 2.00 because once a quarter a store around here will double up to 2.00. And sometimes (not very often) they run a triple coupon for a day (like in the middle of the week). I do use the normal apps on my phone, but the biggest savings is Amazon subscribe and save.

I can save from 5% to 15% the amazon price depending on the item and it gets delivered to mmy thrid floor condo. To get the max savings on the products I only need to order 5 items off my subscribe and save list. You can edit the list up to the day they tell you. It helps when I don't have to carry home cat litter and cat food for 7 cats.

Sometimes subscribe and save isn't cheaper because of the store sales and that is when I buy in the store.

I don't clip coupons from the Sunday paper anymore, because I was finding that they were usually for products we don't use or you had to buy several to use the coupon AND the expiration dates are so soon now.

But I am a faithful user of my shopper cards and love to earn points and then cash them in for gift cards, $$ off purchases etc.

I'm signed up for several loyalty programs and get a good bit off purchases from that.

but lately the expiration dates are so quick who has time

2 weeks?

but I cut out anything I might use

@gidgetgh - agree to a point and why I now subscribe to the Sunday paper only and they have specials for 99 cents/paper if you sign up for one year at a time.

All coupons are in the Sunday paper and I agree about products I don't use; however I can usually find coupons for paper towels, TP and coffee, making the paper free.

ALso use loyalty cards, charging groceries for cash rewards and now, Giant Food stores have 5% off on Tuesdays for seniors 60 and over. I find myself stopping in Giant a lot cuz it's right outside where I live but I always save buying meat and produce specifically on Tuesdays and though 5% is not a lot every little bit helps.

Love Wegmans and used to live across the street when in apt. However, not sure if it's still that way but they used to have savings from their loyalty cards but others that were solely digital and you had to download their app to receive. My Iphone began having issues and I was told to slowly delete any new apps to see if one of them was the problem - three separate times it was Wegmans when they were updating their online app so I no longer keep it on my phone.

I was at Safeway the other day when a woman spent 17 cents for two bags of groceries after using coupons stored on her phone.Even the cashier was shocked.

without being critical, I amazed when I see carts at the store piled up with soda chips and packaged junk
