      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I have just discovered that Amazon charges $6.00 for picking up return packages. &amp;nbsp; You can drop your package up at a drop off location for free.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;I would not have a problem taking it to a UPS location which is 3 minutes away from me, but I don't think you can.&amp;nbsp; I have to think about renewal of my prime membership.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Fortunately, I have never had to return anything.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I thought, though, returns were just a matter of printing out a label and the shipping cost was deducted from your refund. I also thought you could drop off the package at a UPS store......Don't many of the major retailers charge for an at-home pickup ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>My experience with Amazon never used them for pick-up simply print my return label mail person sends back in fact! Immediately after her scanning number refunded amount without charging me. Amazon has one of the best customer service policies. Love Prime! George Carlin HBO classic is on. RIP🌷</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We're prime members and do return fairly often. We have never been charged for return shipping. I slap a UPS label on it and drop it off at our local UPS store (where we also keep a box for business mail). I always ask for a receipt just in case I should have to prove that I did mail it back.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I love their return system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I really have not been checking, but I am a frequent returner. This recent box for which we were charged was for PLAYDOH, which can be heavy. There was no indication that there would be a return charge.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;We do spend thousands per month with Amazon Smile.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;DH took the package to a UPS drop off site.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/32447"&gt;@LTT1&lt;/a&gt;, I should have added to my post that regardless if an item says "free returns" or not, I always "chat" with Amazon to make sure that I will not be charged for return shipping. I've had 100 percent success with that even when a item didn't specify that it had free returns.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I "chat" so that I will have a record.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
