Here we go again.

Mass shooting at a Baptist church outtside of San Antonio, Texas.

I don't know if there are casualties or not.

I think this is happening as I type.

(CNN)The FBI is responding to the scene of a reported shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, according to Michelle Lee, spokeswoman for the FBI's San Antonio field office.

Local police also have responded to the scene, which occurred at the First Baptist Church, a witness told CNN. The witness, a cashier at a gas station across the street from the church, said she heard about 20 shots being fired in quick succession while a church service was underway.

Sutherland Springs is about 30 miles east of San Antonio.

@Plaid Pants2 MSNBC is on the phone with a county commissioner who indicated there are multiple dead (I hope I heard this wrong but I thought he said the numer is close to 24). It sounded like the shooter was being pursued by police and somehow ended up in the church. It was heartbreaking to hear the overwhelming emotion in his voice . . . prayers be with Sutherland Springs TX.

eta: The shooter is confirmed dead.

Maybe because we have news on 24 hours a day, these people that do this killing want to be in headlines, i just think there is so much pain that keeps happening,that some things have to be done.

I wonder if it was someone with a grudge against the congregation? It might be a spurned member, or someone who felt the church had wronged him
