"Systemic Problems" solutions?

It seems to me that allproblems come down to individuals. Saying a problem is "systemic" sort of implies that fixing the sysrtem would fix the problem. In my experience, this rarely happens.

Unless, of course, they could fix the system that allows incompentents to be hired in the first place,

I don't know what specifically you are referring to but the "individuals" have to have the decision making power to change anything.

As a customer service person on the front lines, I know exactly what needs the customers have and how we can fulfill them as a company. It's getting the ivory tower to listen to me or actually acknowledge that I and others like me exist.

Those "individuals" need to throw a line of communication down to hear what we have to say. That's "systemic" problems.

Systems Analysis is incredibly important. Systems are set up and can run for years, the individual becomes part of the system, not the other way around. If it’s dysfunctional, you look to change the system, not individuals, they will fall in line.

I'm with the folks who don't have a clue what this thread is about.

It does prove though that the vaguest stuff can get vague responses. So here's mine:

Wiki and other sources have info on systems analysis for those who find it vague. It’s a common study in related fields.

All problems come down to one person, usually. It becomes systemic when you get multiples of people who do the the same to cause it to get even worse...and then it becomes a problem with all the people involved.

ETA: I just re-read my post and it doesn't make any sense either. Oh well.
