If anyone posts anything mean or unkind you will not be welcomed. This is serious questions.

I understand Shabbat starts Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. At this time I also understand this is the Holy Day........that you do not work but worship and spend time with family and eat together.

Do you do anything else but rest? Like would you do nothing but rest for the 24 hours? I also understand that in Israel the first day of the week is Saturday night after sundown. Which is why Shabbat is on the 7th day. Thank you for awswering these quetions.

Shabbat Shalom.........

PS If you want to add anything with this please do with any other helpful information for this Holy time of the week. Blessings to you.
