A Riddle For you!

If you get the answer right to this riddle....you are most likely a psychopath. Or at least you think like one...someone who lacks empathy and exhibits certain anti social behaviors. I could not come up with the answer...nor My Husband.....thank goodness😄

Here is the riddle: ( I do not know how to do a spoiler or I would have used that). Try not to peek at the answer!

While at her own mother’s funeral, a woman meets a guy she doesn’t know. She thinks this guy is amazing — her dream man — and is pretty sure he could be the love of her life.
However, she never asked for his name or number and afterwards could not find anyone who knows who he was.

A few days later the girl kills her own sister.

Question: Why did she do it?

ANSWER:

The girl kills her sister in the hopes that the guy will come to the funeral and she can see him again.

Did you get the answer right? If so, you allegedly have the mind of a psychopath. (Although full disclaimer: no one really knows where this riddle came from, and in all likelihood it absolutely does not actually reveal whether or not you have psychopathic tendencies…because…it’s just a riddle, guys!). But it was fun!

Well, society is safe from me; I'm 'normal'.

The closest thing I could come to was that the killer (girl) thought the guy was a friend of her BIL and sister and that she could see him again somehow.

I think I'm normal at any rate. This hurts my brain...

Should I beg to be put in jail today? I guessed she wanted the guy to attend another funeral so she could see him, so she decided to create a reason for the funeral by committing the murder.

Perhaps I should not have confessed to guessing the answer so readily. I don’t think I’m a psychopath. It was just a logical leap. Immorality in her killing her sister is not mutually exclusive to logic. Crazy doesn’t mean stupid, as the joke goes. (Do I need to post the relevant joke?)

She was wrong to kill her sister, but it was a logical step to consider a way to get the guy back to the funeral home. The pathology enters where she actually goes through with it. It’s not psychopathic just to think of it.

Fun riddle, if macabre. Got any more gems for Halloween, maybe? 🎃

Interesting, the answer is pretty easy. I find it more in line of how people who investigate crimes & criminals would think...out of the box, all possibilities. Thanks for posting & Yikes, I got it right, right away.

my thoughts were she found out he was her long lost sister who had a sex change and she couldn't have him/her she had to make sure no one could.

making shrink appointment asap!

It would take a psychopath to think like this. She doesn't know this guy and has no idea why he is at her Mom's funeral. Maybe sometime in her life, the Mother did a kind deed for him or something like that and he has no idea who the rest of her family is.

The daughter is taking a huge chance on killing her sister. A big, drastic decision to hope he would show up again. Yes, I'd say that is a psychopathic mind, not thinking of the consequences of her deed!!

I'm creeped out by things like this! BUT - If it was her mother's funeral, and she didn't know him, he probably had some connection with her mother that her family wasn't aware of. He may have worked with her, gone to church with her, etc. Chances are he wouldn't show up for her sister's funeral! UGH!

IMO this network degrades women in general and seems to portray women as less than human and not decent. I am not a fan of anything they show on that station. In fact, I deleted it from my channel line-up.

What's worse than a psychopath? I two immediate thoughts. First, that she wanted another funeral to occur. Second that she found out the guy was really her transgender sister.

I got it right away too. Then, because I thought it unlikely her plan would bring him to the funeral, I thought of another possibility. Most people sign the visitor's book upon arrival so she should be looking into that, preferably prior to killing her sister.

My only thought was that her sister was the man at the funeral and she was mortified and killed her sister for falling in love with 'him'.

Haven't looked at the answer yet but my guess is the "guy" is the sisters husband who she met and married " out of town." going to look at the answer now.
