I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

He said in an interview some time back, that he has reserved the vault next to Marylin Monroe.

He had one heck of a life.

Yes, airbrushing became a true art form because of him. Women with no pores, shadows, perspiration, etc. Just flawless, creamy skin.

I think if you can say anything about Hef is that he lived life to enjoy it. I doubt he 'used' people more than many, many people 'used' him.

I think if you got involved with Hef, you knew exactly what you were doing. I'm not saying it was moral. But no one was forced into the lifestyle he led. In fact many chased it.

I think thte type of young woman who was interested in that lifestyle was one who was insecure, wanted/needed the money and/or attention, or felt powerful and in control because of her sexuality. I can say this because I did some stupid things when I was that age in the same vein.

I always thought of him of being a dirty old man from the start. No loss here in his passing.
