Robert Redford Movie

He's making the rounds for his new movie with Jane Fonda. He's an outdoorsman and he looks a little weathered. He has also gotten older (like all of us) but when he smiles, he brings me back to The Way We Were and Barefoot In The Park. He's done so many other great and informative films. Again, when he smiles, he's still got it, at least for me.

OMG yes...whenever I see him, it brings back those VERY 2 movies.

I have seen The way we Were a ton of times. Barefoot In the Park, I laughted so hard the ton of times I have seen it. I have these movies on VHS...I have to find them on DVD...

I love his smile, his face, aged or young....his face brings back memories.

Thanks for the post. I have not thought of those movies in so long.

Oh is that why I keep seeing gossip stuff online about the two of them getting married. They were filming a movie. I've seen it show up a lot on Facebook.

He has not aged well but hell always have a certain charisma. His skin has always looked like he has deep acne scars that were covered with make-up. Once in awhile you'll see a pic with no mu. This condition makes his face appear old.

I don't know, since Redford is married to someone who is not Jane Fonda.

Love Butch and Kid, too @tansy. The Natural and Brubaker are another of our favs. Jeremiah Johnson seems to be on this TV at least once a month. LOL

Also, love The Way We Were and The Sting. Maybe he should have used sunscreen or more moisturizers, but I'd still take him. Lookn' pretty good to me.

@hckynut The story is about finding love again when one is older. I'll watch the movie because I love both, Redford and Fonda. Especially when they're together on screen. The movie is on Netflix (I think) Friday night if anyone is interested.

Thank you. I have Netflix, but not my type of movie. Give me Redford in a Western or WWII, and I am all in. Jane? No thanks, I've met her personally. Nothing like her brother, she's "up there", he fit in with us middle class racers and party goers.

Brad Pitt is the modern version of Robert Redford. They look so much alike as young men. Robert was so GORGEOUS In the movie The Way We Were. He has aged and I feel sad to see him now so old..... but hey I am no spring chicken either!😄he will always be in my heart the young handsome heart throb ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💘💘💘💘💘💘.

Just because they age doesn't mean they can't act. In fact actors are probably at their best when older because they have so much experience. I love to see actors that are not trying to look 20 again with bad plastic surgery.

Be still my heart...the Sundance Kid.

Butch Cassidy was no slouch in my book either.

I'll always watch this movie even more than the Sting.

When I read about the movie, I thought they would be a good pairing. Both have aged and both have mellowed. And, really both of them are good actors so I think it might be a pretty good one. I think I will bring my Mother - she has always been a Redford fan - and make a day of it with dinner after.

I have always liked Robert Redford and I was so taken with him in the Way we Were. I also thought he did such a good job in the movie with Demi Moore where he was interested in her and she was maarried. He was older there already but he still looked good to me and he does have such charisma, that is for sure. He has class.
