      <description>&lt;P&gt;The past couple times I've tried cancelling either an entire order or part of an order the very next day after placing the order; &amp;nbsp;I see the message order in process cannot cancel. &amp;nbsp;I was really frustrated with this so I called customer service to ask about it. &amp;nbsp;The representative was very nice and she said that many people wanted orders to be processed faster thus the new message. &amp;nbsp; I mentioned that since the "merger" with HSN this is one thing that is just like HSN. &amp;nbsp; If you don't cancel an order by midnight of day you laced the order you cannot cancel it. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I told QVC representative it would be nice if this is indeed a new requirement with QVC orders; then they need to let people know.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I learned this the hard way via HSN. &amp;nbsp;So if QVC is going (as it seems they have) like HSN in this area; then when you place an order; make sure you really wnat it. &amp;nbsp; If you change your mind the next day it looks you'll be unable to cancel an entire or partial order. So be sure you the item ordered is something you really want or you may not be able to make changes and/or cancel the very next day. &amp;nbsp; I'm trying to be careful since I don't want any unnecessary visits to the post office.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Often times a review would come in before my order would ship and it would not be favorable. Then I liked the fact that I could cancel my order. However, I did notice a few weeks ago that I could not cancel an order the next day. So as you say make sure this is something that you really want before ordering.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Tried to cancel an item 3 hrs after purchase &amp;amp; couldn't, thought it was a glitch in the system so tried again around midnight &amp;amp; this morning too but received the same in process notice. Not happy about it &amp;amp; will return the item so it's a lose-lose. Before all the finger wagging starts, Yes I know should have been sure before placing the order but I simply changed my mind &amp;amp; tried to cancel promptly.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

QVC allowed us to cancel orders the next day all the time. &amp;nbsp;I appreciated that. &amp;nbsp;Now that I see the policy has changed I’ll be sure to cancel an order the same day should I change my mind. &amp;nbsp;Everyone is entitled to their opinion.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Q has stepped up their shipping process like the old days. &amp;nbsp;The reason you can't cancel is that they have started to ship it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Knock on wood but since my slow ship complaint was handled by the forum monitor&amp;nbsp;all of my items ship by&amp;nbsp;the 3rd day for any &amp;nbsp;order. &amp;nbsp;That's the way it should be.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A 24 hour cancel is more than reasonable. &amp;nbsp;With Q's high shipping costs I want my items the next day or sooner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can't have it both ways - many stores with free shipping give you one hour to change your order and many store don't give you any opportunity to cancel at all.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think the reason for the change is for a couple of reasons.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One, people want their orders two seconds after completing&amp;nbsp;the transaction.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Secondly, people have posted on here, that they'll "buy" it by check, then wait to see if reviews come in, and if the reviews are not all glowing five-star, then they cancel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think QVC got sick and tired of that, so in order to cut down on the number of cancellations, they start the process much sooner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I say, good for QVC!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If one is unsure that they want it, then let someone else who is sure buy it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Buying and then cancelling messes up the inventory count, even if it is all automated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

No matter if you felt my thought is unreasonable or people wanted orders quicker or a few other reasons; &amp;nbsp;again everyone is entitled to their opinions. &amp;nbsp;😁 &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Whether this is a new policy for QVC or not , now that I’m aware of the faster processing I’ll &amp;nbsp;make sure I really want an item before ordering. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Since return shipping is so expensive, now I'll just turn off the tv when I see something I might be tempted to buy (especially is "WE'RE DOWN TO OUR LAST 200) and think about it and look elsewhere if I have ANY doubts at all. If I need to measure, I'll measure; check my closet, I'll do that; or even need to think about it to make absolutely sure. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Probably I'll go out and find a better cheaper one in the meantime. &amp;nbsp;THat means no makeup, no storage, no clothing I haven't had that EXACT one before. &amp;nbsp;WOW, that really means NO clothing from QVC for me. &amp;nbsp;Appliances? &amp;nbsp; Nah. &amp;nbsp;NOT any more. &amp;nbsp;And the cart expires in 30 minutes? &amp;nbsp;Is that right? &amp;nbsp;I need to revisit the rules here.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have NO PROBLEM that you can't cancel an item due to it shipping so quickly, BUT......&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;that is NOT what is happening based on my experience and reading multiple threads in other forums here. The items are "locked up" , read "PROCESSING" and then......SIT for days or weeks. I've called and complained. Others have too. Don't tell me it's processing to be shipped out when, in reality, you're waiting for the vendor to send you MORE merchandise to fulfill the order OR it's not being fulfilled for whatever&amp;nbsp;reason.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I ruled QVC? That order wouldn't show "PROCESSING" UNLESS it was actually&amp;nbsp;pulled OFF the shelf, going on the truck and out the door within 24 hours. Until that happens, it's just sitting there and a customer should have the ability to cancel. After all, it's all digital right? So it takes seconds to inform everyone if an order has been cancelled.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oh wait.... we're talking QVC whose IT department isn't the greatest so..... now we understand why the mess.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
