Does anyone know why Jill is carrying that cup around with her. This is the second day in a row.She has trouble finding a place to set it down and is distracting

Jill had a terrible cough yesterday and I'm assuming she has it again today. Maybe the cup has water or hot tea or something in case she starts coughing again.

Yesterday she said she was losing her voice and the coffee was helping, so I guess she's doing the same thing today. It was also during Valerie's show.

I agree, I thought maybe she has a sore throat and there is hot tea in it, or maybe they are pushing "Starbucks" for some reason.... It is distracting to me too, especially when she puts it down by the item on air..

I noticed this as well. This is the 3rd or 4th show I recall seeing her with a cup. It's one thing to have it on the set but to be walking around with it is very noticeable. Hope she is okay.

I assumed it was because she's been coughing so much. It doesn't bother me at all. I don't see how they get through shows without water. I would lose my voice every day.

Jill explained yesterday she was drinking hot water & using cough drops, apologized several times to the viewers & the people she was working with. Jill also stepped in to take over for Kristen who had to leave her show early because she was sick too. Jill has a cup...deal.

I guess I don't get why people see something like this, and don't at least give consideration to the fact that someone might have a good reason for doing something like this.

Kirsten had to leave in the middle of a show yesterday (illness was believed to be the issue) and Jill stepped in noting that she was having cold/voice issues as well, but went on like the trooper she is.

I don't have a problem with viewers asking why something is happening, just wish people wouldn't always do so with the idea that there might not be an important or good reason for what is happening.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe that someone would be "distracted" by a host carrying a cup around....for ANY reason, or even for NO reason. Wow!

Or the assumption that whatever tiny thing a host might do that can be found to comment on, it's done for the sole purpose of being annoying to viewers. Really? Good gravy!

I can't help but notice that the viewers get distracted every time something is a little bit different than it was yesterday,

i would hope that as adults we can adapt to changes with little effort. I guess that is not the case with some people.

I am just glad some posters are not my neighbors. They don't miss anything... kinda like Gladys Kravitz. Abner, Abner!
