    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1277"&gt;@Moonchilde&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; Holy Moly.... why would anyone want an Amazon Store Credit card? &amp;nbsp;The APR is high and the perks are low.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I had one, I'd use a different card with a lower APR unless I could pay off by balance every month or used the special financing.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i think it's amazing that credit interest is so high and earned interest on savings is so low. &amp;nbsp;We don't stand a chance of getting ahead,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Amazon Store card alert</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="2"&gt;I'm not sure if this has been discussed ,but I am going to throw this little tidbit out there. I was checking my past years statements and found, on each af them, a Security Card fee of nearly always $50 more or less. I never signed up KNOWINGLY for this fee to be added. It is an insurance policy for when you are unemployed or hurt and can't pay your bill. I never signed up for it !! I called the bank that issues the store card and she said that it is there and if you do not, on purpose, say or click no to it, it is an automatic thing.I have all my statements coming to&amp;nbsp; so I can check. She said---that my money will be reimbursed---now I'm not sure about that, but it should be done in 90 days. I had her cancel that fee today so should not be charged anymore. Please check your AMZ store credit cards for this---am a little more than ticked off about this--I have always been very happy with AMZ.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="2"&gt;FYI everyone!!!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That's pretty sneaky of them. &amp;nbsp;I always got those solicitations from my credit cards, but I of course declined them. &amp;nbsp;I never knew they could just slap it on there like that, without your approval. &amp;nbsp;I buy a lot from Amazon, but I have a different card that I use, and I don't even carry a balance on it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="arial black,avant garde" size="3"&gt;A few Months ago I signed up for the 30 day trial Prime Membership..I wasn't paying attention and apparently the 30 days were up..BUT did I get a NOTICE from Amazon..NO..so when I get my Amazon CC Bill,on it is $107..charge for PRIME MEMBERSHIP..I say what is this..I call them and they say..well,you didn't tell us to not do this...I say you send me a ZILLION E-MAILS about everything under the sun and you don't send me one about this? Sure they don't..AMAZON IS A SCAM as far as I am concerned..Sorry all you Amazon lovers..I am done with them&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I am very anxious to see if I REALLY get my money back--I opened my card in 12/2014----- that is alot of money to be refunded. And maybe that practice has changed since 2014. At any rate, I will check it out when I get the back statements. I don't think AMZ is a scam--you just have to be on your toes for the convience , I guess.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/66078"&gt;@Carmie&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I'm not in love with Amazon, but for the most part, I don't think they're scammers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any time you sign up for a trial period, there's a statement that you have to cancel before the 30 days are up to avoid having the annual fee charged.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One thing I'll be curious about, though, is how easy you find it to get the charge reversed when you drop out of Prime.&amp;nbsp; I've never seen that discussed, but I have seen many complaints about other companies that offer something "free" for a month and then they make it nearly impossible to back out.&amp;nbsp; Now THAT would tick me off!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I dropped Prime, I did it at the end of my year's membership and it was easily done.&amp;nbsp; For that, I'll give Amazon a point.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the heads up but I've never had a problem with my Amazon cards. If any charges are made to them, I get an email notification.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans" size="3"&gt;I have Amazon Store card and never had the charge either.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans" size="3"&gt;As for signing up for the free Trial Membership I do recall it stating that if I do not cancel prior to the 30-day mark I will be charged for the membership - which I did want.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans" size="3"&gt;I love Amazon but like with anything you need to pay attention with ANY card/service and make sure you read the print.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans" size="3"&gt;Also - I have options of what card I want to pay with and I do not always choose the Store Card - it lets me click the button on whichever card that I would like to use.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;FONT face="lucida sans unicode,lucida sans" size="3"&gt;You have to select what card is your default card also. It isn't always the company trying to trick us but we have to have more personal responsibility on what we read and pay attention too..and also what is selected.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
