    <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been getting strange tracking notations on various shipments lately.&amp;nbsp; One was &lt;EM&gt;"package in transit and scheduled for UPS delivery attempt to recipient on next UPS business day"&lt;/EM&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; That was 9/9/17.&amp;nbsp; I guess that's a roundabout way of saying they'll attempt to deliver it on Monday, 9/11.&amp;nbsp; Today it reads that it was delivered by USPS.&amp;nbsp; It will be a surprise when I get home from work to see just where they left it.&amp;nbsp; The postal carrier has been leaving my packages on my neighbor's porch lately!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;For those of you who love to brag about Amazon's fast deliveries and compare them to QVC. &amp;nbsp;I ordered a 25lb bag of dog food, 12 cans of canned and some treats on Friday. Got a guaranteed delivery date of today. &amp;nbsp;The &lt;U&gt;USPS&lt;/U&gt; lady showed up with all except the 25lb bag as it was sent &lt;U&gt;UPS Innovations. &lt;/U&gt;About 4pm I got an email that the 25lb bag would be delayed. &amp;nbsp;Looks like Amazon is approaching a downhill slide. &amp;nbsp;This was a Prime order.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My order came in 2 days but says it was delivered to the mailroom. &amp;nbsp;I live in a house and do not have a mail room (or if I do, I have no clue where it is). &amp;nbsp;They told me to wait until tomorrow in case it really is still in transit. &amp;nbsp;And then they will refund/replace. &amp;nbsp;I have also had orders arrive in 3 or 4 days versus 2 days. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;LOL, even with the extra day which does occasionally happen it doesn't compare to QVC who can't even process an order to be picked up by the shipping company in 3 days except on rare occasions, let alone deliver anything within a week.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I placed a small order (cosmetic item) around last Friday.&amp;nbsp; Showed it would be delivered on Sunday, by 8 p.m.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Didn't get here even though the tracking showed it was picked up in the next town which is maybe 5 miles away.&amp;nbsp; Today it shows it will arrive in a few days.&amp;nbsp; That usually doesn't happen with Amazon.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm glad to get my Amazon deliveries in 2-4 days (not a Prime member), but I wouldn't say I'm bragging by saying that. &amp;nbsp;I mean, it's not like I own or run Amazon, so how would their quick deliveries to my address be a source of personal pride for me?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as QVC goes, they do take forever, but that is not the only reason I don't often order from them. &amp;nbsp;Their selection isn't that great and neither are their prices. &amp;nbsp;I used to really love their jewelry selection, but I rarely see anything I like at a decent price anymore. &amp;nbsp;Sometimes I see a beauty bundle that would be a good deal if I wanted all of the products that came with the kit, but if I'm paying extra for something I didn't want anyway, it's not really a deal for me. &amp;nbsp;As far as the clothes go, what if they don't fit? &amp;nbsp;Then I have to pay to return them. &amp;nbsp;And at other sites I can fill up a cart and get free shipping, but not here. &amp;nbsp;In other words, it's not just the slow shipping that's a problem. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I still keep a wish list and I take a gander at what they have here sometimes, but there just isn't enough incentive for me to order from QVC very often anymore.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I guess we have been very lucky so far. Up until about a year ago, we never got Sunday deliveries unless it was an overnight/2-day shipment around Christmas.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now we get them regularly from Amazon Prime. At least the majority of deliveries are on time, so no complaints.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last year we had a MIA QVC package around early November. UPS dropped the ball 60 miles from us. The package was never found and I had to order another.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It was a 25 lb portable Masterbuilt smoker! MIA? Not likely...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, someone in UPS was smoking thier turkey last year...SMH&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Occasionally, one of my Prime deliveries takes 3 days, rather than two. &amp;nbsp; When this delay has made a difference and I let them know, I was compensated in some way. &amp;nbsp;Usually, they give me an extra month of Prime.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To compare to QVC,where the delivery is extra long to get to me on the West Coast.....2 days ago, I ordered a pair &amp;nbsp;of Vionic hiking boots from Amazon for 85.94. &amp;nbsp; The same boots sell for 109.96 on QVC. &amp;nbsp; Both sites offer free shipping but I would likely not get them for 10-14 days if ordered from QVC. &amp;nbsp;I got them today, from Amazon.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The difference in price is almost $25, not to mention the tax savings.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Actually, I rarely have any issues with Amazon. &amp;nbsp;The Q is another story. &amp;nbsp;My recent orders have sat in processing for up to 7 or 8&amp;nbsp;days before shipping. &amp;nbsp;Then when they&amp;nbsp;finally get&amp;nbsp;to the UPS 2 miles from my house&amp;nbsp;they get&amp;nbsp;transferred to the post office so add 3 days. &amp;nbsp;I guess at $3 you get what you pay for. &amp;nbsp;I rather have a consistent 2 day experience with Amazon (with the occasional outlier). &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
