HSN is back up live

They have set up shop at Music City in Nashville, TN.

They all got out safe and sound and are thanking people for the prayers and well wishes.

Right now they are interviewing a spokesperson from the Red Cross about their efforts.

Very nice human touch!

I was wondering what HSN was going to do, I'm glad they are safe. I assume they will be in Nashville all week. Prayers to all in Florida.

I'm watching right now at 7:19am EST and it says on the screen, "Previously Recorded."

Perhaps HSN can only do certain items Live from their temporary location. Other brands/vendors could not make the trip, so their segments have to be the recorded ones from earlier.

@Caaareful Shopper I am sure this is the case. There is no reason to have anybody travel if it can be avoided.

Lancome is there live, I guess since they have the special of the day. The announced a large donation to the Red Cross.

PS: the temporary set looks good!

They did a great job @Abrowneyegirl. I cannot imagine the intense logistical planning that had to go into all the moving, and keeping everyone safe.

I don't remember which hurricane it was but I do remember during a past hurricane, HSN was in Nashville.

According to a recent path projected for Irma, she'll follow HSN all the way to Nashville / central TN.

They re-run Origami all day on HSN2 and that stuff sells itself. No need to schlep all of that to Nashville.

Sarah was in Richmond with Danica Patrick doing the Warrior show yesterday afternoon.

Colleen has been quiet of Facebook. She was not on Thursday night. Amy Morris did both the Beauty Report and the Fashion Edit. They didn't mention where Colleen was. She may have been on vacation.

Glad HSN they moved - all of Florida is going to be a dangerous mess. I know the eye is moving up the west coast, but even on the east coast where my condo is I see that well over 10% of Florida Power and Light customers in Palm Beach County are already powerless. I didn't even look at the stats for Miami-Dade and Broward which are south of us, but they could be even worse.

Once again, I'm happy to be a snowbird today. I'll cope with any damage later. My feelings go for those who actually live full-time in Irma's wide, ugly path, particularly the feeble old and the young. This is a storm Florida hasn't ever seen before.

I had a "stupid" moment with HSN yesterday. I was channel surfing and switched on HSN in the midafternoon and I thought that HSN must be in deep financial doo doo since they were doing pre-recorded programming on a Saturday afternoon. I mentioned it to a friend and she said, well they are in FL. And yeah....the light went on.

I had the same question. I ordered the Hypnose Drama duo, with a 20% off that was emailed to me. Great price! I actually felt guilty. I am in no hurry for the mascara and would expect it to delayed.

HSN broadcasts from FL, but most items ship from various warehouses in other locations, not from FL.
