I have never seen these around here but today they are all over my deck and window screens. I am thinking what next.

If they are bright, almost lime green, they may be katydids.

They always show up late summer - August/Sept. Sounds like there was a big hatch recently at your house. LOL

Be careful if you don't have aluminum screens, grasshoppers will chew holes in the fiberglass ones.
