I'm a long time diffusing fan! I no longer do the reed type diffusers. I have switched to an electronic nebulizer. With this type device you do not add any water to your oils nor is there any cleaning of the device. The other kind, where you add water to a small tank, wastes a lot of oil and it can get expensive especially when you are diffusing certain types of costly oils. Plus you have to clean it out regularly. I prefer the nebulizer type. It's a miraculous invention!

I can never smell any reed diffuser I've ever come across more than an inch from the reeds. The mist diffusers scent a room nicely.
