I don't use my phone much, rarely get calls, so I determined that I don't react to or recognize the cutesy ring tones as being my phone ringing. So I found a good, old-fashioned, jarring telephone ring and I notice and react to it.

The very beginning (instrumentals only) of Green Grass and High Tides (Outlaws) on my business cell.

And my personal cell plays the beginning (again, instrumentals only) of I'd Love to Change the World (Ten Years After).

I love the old fashioned ring, too! I wish my home phone had it.

I have a different ringtone for different people.

My 25 y/o DD has a robotic sounding voice saying "your daughter is calling"

My 36 y/o DS has a voice saying "mom, mom, mom, mom"

(When he was young, he couldn't start a sentence without saying Mom, even if we were the only 2 people in the room)

Their dad is retired, his is Easy Street from the Walking Dead.

If I get a call other than one of them, it goes to voicemail. So that ringtone is irrelevant.

One of the annoying sounds that came with the phone.

One buddy of mine has a ring tone that goes "Mom? Pick up the phone, mom. Mom..pick up mom. MOM? Pick up the phone. MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM MOM PICK UP THE PHONE! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!" By then, she's picked up the phone, lol.

Another good friend, who finally divorced his wife (that no one every liked...not even their children), has a ring tone that when SHE calls is the theme for the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz, lol.
