Today ask God for anything that is in line with His will for you. Plead with
Him
and Tell Him your needs and keep praying.

Scripture for the day:

"Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes
refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, until the
destroying storms pass by." ~Psalm 57:1

Meditation for the day:

"My soul is restless until it finds its rest in Thee." A river flows
on, until it loses itself in the sea. Our spirits long for rest in the
Spirit of God. We can yearn to realize a peace, a rest, a satisfaction
that we have never found in the world or its pursuits. Some of us are
not conscious of our need, and can shut the doors of our spirits against
the Spirit of God. That makes it difficult for us to find true peace.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may feel the divine unrest. I pray that my soul may find
its rest in God.

Hello my friends! What a day! Made two quiches for the Gift Opening - took
them to Greg's parents place - and she made pancakes too, coffee cake and
sausage. For gifts, they received a rice cooker, some fiestaware dishes, in
blue or peacock, some homemade towels, so pretty, and they got two wine
glasses with their names on and Wedding Date, they were registered at
Macy's and Target so people could just go there to know what they needed.
And they got cash. Now it's all over, but yesterday I just want to mention
a blessing when we met someone there who is a sister to one of my best
friends in school - they lived right across the pasture from our farm. How
nice to talk to her again after all these years. She knew Greg as he was
growing up, as she married his uncle. The newlyweds are on their way back
now. They plan to come back in October for another wedding in the family -
Darla's cousin, my great- nephew, Cory, who served in Afghanastan for a
year, remember I was asking you all to pray for him? He's marrying a
military girl. Greg's son was groomsman and he's stationed for 3 years in
Alaska, Air Force. He's 20. While Darla was dancing with his son, she
mentioned that now she has a step-son, and he said, just skip the step, I'm
your son!
Wow! They had some dancers there who danced the salsa, and both Greg and
Darla were with them, it was so nice watching it. Their Wedding Song was
"Love Me Tender", that's because when they got back together again after 10
years, he played the guitar and sang that song to her. She made a beautiful
bride and he a very handsome groom.
Praying for you all, for healings, those who need healings, thanks for your
prayers for us.

A Need Supplied

A young preacher had been away from home and was returning. He did not have
much money, just what he had been given in a love offering for his ministry.

He knew if he took out the tithe there would not be enough to cover the
expenses to get home. Still he took out the tithe and happily gave it over
to the Lord. Then he started to drive down the road.

He drove until he needed gas, praying that the Lord would provide. On what
he was sure was the last bit of gasoline in the tank, he pulled into a gas
station. Getting out of the car, he counted the little change he had in his
pocket and told the attendant that he wanted whatever gas that amount would
buy.

The attendant stuck the hose in the tank and went about cleaning the
windshield noticing a Bible on the front seat of the car. The gas pump
continued to pour gasoline into the tank and the preacher began to get
excited.

"You'd better stop the pump. This really is all the money I have," He said.

"Hmmm--OK," the attendant replied, and let the pump go on as he finished
cleaning the windows. Inspired from the preacher's pleas the attendant
filled the tank to the brim. Then, he led the preacher into the station.
Reaching up to a high shelf, he grabbed an old battered lunch bucket. "Would
you by chance be a preacher?" he questioned.

The preacher nodded and said he was on his way home from a meeting and was
about out of money.

"Well, I thought you might be. I saw that Bible in the car. I am a
Christian, but we don't' have a good church around here. So I have been
setting aside the Lord's money and asking Him to show me what to do with
it."

With that he opened the lunch bucket, reached in and pulled out a fistful of
bills and thrust them into the preacher's hand.

"That and the tank full of gas should get you home and help take care of
you."

This is a very good story that shows how God will be faithful in supplying
all of our needs when we stay true to His word and unwavered in our faith.

If you are worried over a particular situation, then I hope this story will
strengthen your faith to know that God will always be faithful to supply
every need that you have.

Deuteronomy 31:8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be
with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be
dismayed."

Giving to the Lord is our way of showing Him that money is not our source,
but God is our source. He is the One that gives us power to get wealth as
we read in

Deuteronomy 8:18 "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who
gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He
swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

I encourage you to never allow the enemy to make you feel as if giving to
God has no reward. You will not know what blessings truly are until you
give your tithes and offerings joyously unto the lord.

He promises to pour you out a blessing that you will not have room enough to
receive it. If you have not tried God in this, I encourage you to try the
Lord and see if God will not do what He said He would do.

Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His
riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be
food in My house, And try Me now in this," Says the LORD of hosts, "If I
will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such
blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

I've Cried

I've cried to God as I've beheld the world wrapped up in fear,
of lack and death and war that looms to snatch lives held so dear.

Do you not know the shape we're in? Do you not care for me?"

God, Are you there?

God's Will Prayer

Dear Lord God Almighty
We know that You are Jesus, and that You died for us.

Give us Your Holy Spirit, to live in us forever, and thus bless us with
Eternal Life. Let Your Holy Spirit Testify through us and speak the Truth
through us.
Let Your Holy Spirit Love through us- a perfect unselfish Holy Love; so that
we
lay down all worldly ambitions, give up our wills, and do Your Holy Will.
Take our thoughts away from making money, or finding business opportunities.
Take our desire away from seeking worldly wealth or fame. Take our eyes away
from
looking on vain worldly appearances, which deceive and mislead us. Keep our
thoughts
on doing Your Holy will, not on seeking worldly material things, or vain
worldly status.

Let Your Holy Spirit give us our ONE desire and ONE purpose. To do Your Holy
Will. If You desire us to walk paths of poverty, then so be it. If You
desire us to lose everything, that we think is important or valuable, then
so be it. If You Desire us to sacrifice everything we have and our lives,
then so be it. If You desire us to endure pain and seasons of harsh
conditions, then so be it. If You desire us to live or die, then so be it.
Let Your Holy Will be done in our lives. For, even our lives are not our
own. We owe everything to You.

Keep us from looking in the mirror and admiring our own beauty, which is not
beauty at all. Let the True Beauty be is us- Your Holy Spirit of Truth and
Grace. Keep us from pride and love of self, which is our enemy. Bless us
with absolute, total, unselfish Love. Which is only possible through Your
Holy Spirit.

We give You our lives. Do with us as You Will. Make our lives useful to Your
Service. The only ambition we have is to humbly, and honestly do Your Will.
We want to lift up Your Name Jesus, not our names. We want to make known the
power of Your Holy Spirit, Jesus. We want You to claim us for Yourself, and
use us according to Your Divine purpose. And no matter the job or task that
You assign to us, we will be contented, and full of Joy, to do Your Holy
Will, Jesus.

Let Your Holy Spirit, Jesus, Live in us forever, and give us Purpose, Hope,
and Peace and Joy, and Eternal Life. For without You, we perish.

In Your Holy Spirit, Jesus, we Pray!

O God, I know there is nothing so precious as friendship and nothing

Thank you for all my friends.
Thank you for all the people I have met, with whom I have worked,

To music, played games or watched movies.
Thank you for those who are even closer to me than my friends,
