Be careful when you buy Lock and Locks. I ordered some and on the bottoms some say Made in China, others say Made in Vietnam. I don't have any that say Made in the USA as claimed. Also, they are NOT guaranteed for life as stated. I dropped one of mine taking it out of the freezer and the lid cracked. I wrote and called Lock and Lock many, many times and they will not let me purchase a lid. I even went through the Better Business Bureau and Lock and Lock refuses to answer them. Very, very bad customer service! I like the product, but because of the customer service, I refuse to purchase any more of their products. When I called the company, a lady there DID tell me they "could possibly" send me a lid only IF I still had my reciept. Well, how many pepole save their reciepts for food storage containers they buy?? Especially after they've been using them. I can't believe I can't purchase a simple replacement lid! The Better Business Bureau gave them an "F". I am too.
