I certainly can understand someone posting that a friend,family member has died,but there are a few people that just regularly post about people in the news, that have died.

And? Is there some term of use violation involved? So what then?

I'm more interested in reading threads about well-known people who have died than someone's family member or friend I don't know anything about.

I suggest if a thread is not a TOU violation and it bothers you, don't read it.

Those who post deaths are always moved by the passing. If someone who posts is not particularly moved by the death, then a magnificent role is appropriate.

@goldensrbest, I must be missing something here, most people would be more familiar with someone famous, more so than a personal family member, I don't get what your point is?????

When posting about love ones that have died, it is finding compassion, helping in ones loss, but famous people we do not know , i don't understand what the reason is.

I rarely have my TV on, so usually these Forums are my first source of hearing about someone's departure. For instance, when Michael Parks died, I never read it anywhere else except here.

I do follow local and national media on twitter so I usually hear or read quickly when someone passes. Yet, I do miss some like Bill Paxton a while back and if not for here I would not have known as soon as I did. I appreciate knowing.

I'm still a tad confused, the passing of a famous or well known person is always a topic of conversation.

I don't understand the reason for a lot of the posts here. But what the heck, if it's not against standards who cares. If I'm not interested I pass it by.

note to self: always wait at least an hour after someone dies to possibly post it. that way it doesnt look like a "race." LOL
